MMCX ER Earphone Replacement Cable

These seem to break about every two years. It’s always right where the braided cable meets the top. The plastic coating cracks and then the audio will intermittently cut out. At least they have replacement cables, though.

Excellent product but only 4 stars because cable is not flexible enough.

I was a 15 year Westone user and am a complete convert. I won’t even get into how the frequency filtering inserts are game changers!

I have ER3XR's. The ER4-06 are a excellent choice if you want to upgrade the wires. I have been using Etymotic products for at least 25yrs.
I use them when I ride (Sport Touring Motorcycle.)

I was able to turn a junkyard pair of ER3s into a beautiful working pair. I don't know why I was unaware of this option, but very happy with it.

I would like to register that I agree, it would be great if there was an option for a 1/2 length (0.75m) cable

In my experience the cables are always the failure point of earbuds. I need the short angle and the notch of the OEM cables but I wish there were half length versions. I end up having to braid my cables to shorten them . . .
