They a great for noice reduction. I can go now to place couldn’t before.

They're pretty alright. They're not great at silencing the occlusion effect: my breathing, talking, and other head noises are kinda loud, compared to my foam earplugs, and tend to drown out external sounds. However, they're way better than Loops, where my talking and footsteps were so loud I genuinely couldn't hear anything else. My footsteps are actually pretty quiet with these, on par with my foam earplugs. And sound quality is definitely better, more balanced than my foams. I haven't been to any loud music events yet, so I don't know if they're enough to protect my hearing at one, and if they're able to keep the bass balanced with everything else (so it's not rediculously loud compared to the rest of the music).

They were very comfortable and quieted the sound to a comfortable level. Everything sounded great. I’ll bring these to every concert I go to.

good ear plugs

I’ve returned them and am awaiting a refund. They didn’t block sound nearly enough for my needs. They weren’t poor quality, it’s just that I need much more sound block.

I ordered 4 sets of ear plugs one set was missing one piece. Then the ones I did get were useless. Barely made any difference, could hear all the distortion even in a Function 1 club. Absolute garbage.

I love mine so I bought pairs for 3 friends!

I've used than in the past and they are great.

This is my go-to hearing protection. I play drums in a rock band so it’s important that I have protection that doesn’t muffle the sound. This is probably my 5th pair. I’m a big fan.

Best earplugs I've ever used.

I use these under a motorcycle helmet on race tracks. They fit well and reduce the sound decibel to an acceptable level. Also find the hard plastic stem easy to grab and use to remove them from my ear canal. Highly recommend.

These are my favorite earplugs; I can’t go to a show without them. I had my previous pair for 10 years until I somehow managed to lose one. My only complaint is they now come in a hard-shell case, and I really prefer the thinner-profile squishy one. But the earplugs themselves have saved my ears at countless concerts over the past 10 years, and I try to keep them in my purse for those occasions when crowds or movies get too loud. And thank goodness, because I’ve been to a couple of movies that would have been unbearably loud without them.

these don't block as much as I'd hoped. I guess they would be good for aloud concert, you could still the music, but I wanted them to block annoying sounds in my house like a loud TV or computer, but they don't block much of that

I have been a fan of Etymotic hi-fidelity ear plugs for some time and have also used them in a wind instrument ensemble class. Recommended.

I liked them in every way except its performance in reducing sound for me as a wind player in an orchestra. Instead of in my music bag, I will keep them in my pocket book to have instead of having nothing, just in case I end up somewhere that is too loud.

I even forget I'm wearing them. They help focus a conversation in a noisy space. They're great for every day life, because if you're like me and carry a dB reader on your phone, the world has gotten MUCH louder.

The db reduction is inadequate for listening to live rock music. I purchased the large size and the fit isn’t comfortable, I have to push them in too far to start reduce the sound.

I was expecting a tight, secure fit but these feel loose and I’m concerned about noise canceling and overall effectiveness. I think I have normal ears so I ordered regular. Maybe large was the way to go.

They feel worse than foam plugs and while the noise reduction is even, it’s also extremely minimal. Additionally, can’t put anything over top of them or else they dig in uncomfortably. Not what I was hoping for.

I use these for attending concerts and motorcycle riding. I can listen to Joe Bonemassa live, hear the music perfectly, and walk out without hearing loss. These fit under a helmet without interference. I can hear the mechanical sounds of the bike but at a lower volume so enjoy the ride without the loud wind and other noise. I arrive at the end of the day refreshed instead of beat.

I've been using these Etymotic earplugs for over twenty years while I ride a motorcycle and enjoy the reduced helmet nose and comfort while riding.

Using for about 5 years since loud music at a wedding induced tinnitus & sensitivity to loud noises. Fortunately, tinnitus has subsided, however I try to carry these earplugs with me to protect against loud sounds. It is effective without affecting music or ability to hear conversations. Only downside is easy to lose. String with plastic holders help when used but makes one stand out when wearing earplugs.

These are pretty good. They fit comfortable and dampen sound when I am playing bagpipes but i can still hear the subtle gracenotes and embelishments while playing.

I have non-circular ear canals, so these are of little use.
