Really love my pair of ER3SE - they're my daily driver IEMs. I can't stand the rubber tips that come with the Etys (and most other IEMs), so for comfort and sound signature I only use the black foam tips. They're excellent - until they fall apart. My foam tips seem to last about a month or so before the foam insert completely detaches from the plastic/rubber tube that pops on the Etys. This means the foam plug gets stuck in my ear when I remove the etys, unless I'm very careful. When it does get stuck, I have to tweeze the foam out of my ear - it's not pleasant. My brother has used Etys for years and had a small stock of older foam tips which never had this issue. He finally ran out of his old stock, and he's also having this same problem with his new batch of tips. I'm guessing the manufacturing process has changed - seemingly for the worse. If there's a solution to this issue, please let me know. I understand the foam tips have a lifespan due to wax buildup, but my tips end up detaching way before the foam seizes up from wax. That means I'm burning through a pair of foam tips almost monthly, which feels ridiculous.
