The Dual Flange Ear tip is an evolution in Etymotic design.
Traditionally, using a 3-flange device, Etymotic ear tips allowed for 3 potential points of contact in the ear canal that seals the ear better than the single dome silicone tips on many products.
What they have done with the Dual Flange ear tip is created a tip that is softer, more comfortable, and seals just as well as their traditional 3-flange tip.
This package contains
3 pairs (6 eartips per pack) of the Small size ear tips that are meant to fit Etymotic earphones.
The widest outside diameter of this small tip is 9mm.
These tips will fit other brands as well that have an inside diameter of roughly 3mm.

Great seal
These seem to give my ears a great seal. You have to experiment a bit but for me I found these to be the best for blocking out stage noise 🙂

Nice Alternative
I’ve been wearing er20xs’s for a few years now and always loved them. So far, the dual flange are comfy and a great alternative to the triple flange tips!

A great compromise between isolation and non-invasive feeling
These are just great all around. Very comfortable and fairly good isolation. These do not kill your own voice as well as the triple flanges (occlusion effect), but outside noises are isolated very well. Make sure to get the perfect size though, not too big as they put too much pressure on your ear canal and that is a feeling you (like me) not enjoy.

Bought mediums because I have medium-sized ears but should’ve bought the large size. Live and learn! (too many choices. 🙂

There are no complaints about the quality of the inserts. Everything is fine. I opted for a medium sized tri-flange replacement. I took the size m – according to the recommendation. They were great for me. Next time I will know that three-flange and two-flange are different. Take size s if you used medium three-flange ones.

The Best
if you have smaller ears these are AMAZING. they make any Ety comfortable enough to wear for 12 hours and they stay sealed. I also notice I don’t need to push them in that deep to get a good seal.
