Great Product!
This is my second purchase of four sets of earplugs. I keep them everywhere: purse, car, at home, work, etc. I use them when running equipment to protect my poor hearing, at work when there is too much ambient noise, and they also keep me calm in loud public places.

Ear protection
I have used these earplugs for protection for years. Just got another pair for myself and a friend. Enjoy live music, but it’s so loud. No more headaches and ringing in my ears without distorting the quality of the music.

Effective Solution for Reducing Ambient Noise
I use these on long haul flights and within our household where I have a serious musician practicing several hours a day. They do not block out sound as well as expensive noise canceling headphones, but they do reduce the noise levels so that they are not distracting. As far as comfort as compared to noise cancelling headphones, I find that headphones are really uncomfortable and hurt the top of my head if worn for long periods of time. These earplugs avoid that, but after a long period of time the plugs can get uncomfortable as the rub my ear canal. Would I buy these again? Yes. They are way more comfortable than less expensive foam earplugs.

They’re plugs, for your ears
There are many plugs in the world. Bath plugs, hair plugs, free plugs, Plugger, sink plugs. But none of those plugs will fit your ear, and trying to make them fit may even cause discomfort. But these plugs are *for* your ears, and while they do not cause discomfort, they plug said ears well enough to provide the sound attenuation exactly as described in their specification. Amazing!

Great for musicians
These earplugs work very well for me. They are easy to put on for rehearsals and concerts, but can be removed quickly when I need to talk with someone. I play French horn in large bands, so the earplugs give me protection not only from the loud sounds, but also from my own instrument. I tried custom-made musician’s earplugs, but they were always difficult and time-consuming to fit properly in my ears. The ETY plugs work much better for me, although I guess they don’t give as high a protection level as the custom ones would, were I able to insert them properly. They also allow me to hear the other musicians and my own instrument, just at a much lower volume. I also like the cord and carrying case, which I can attach to my instrument case so the plugs are always at hand.

I have tinnitus and can get temporary spikes in the ringing when I am in loud environments. Using these earplugs has been a tremendous help. I love that I can use them at concerts and still hear the music without fearing that I will have an uptick in tinnitus afterwards. My son, who knows how much I love live music, gave me my initial pair and it was honestly one of the most thoughtful things I could have been given. I’ve also used them when we’ve had work done in the house to deaden the effects of hammering, etc.

Misleading advertising and poor customer service
I ordered these looking for the advertised 20db or noise reduction. I received the item and the packaging states 12db reduction per the official NRR rating system. This isn’t mentioned anywhere on the product page and is misleading. I contacted customer service and they sent me a return code but told me I would have to pay for return shipping. That’s annoying because I feel I was lied to in the product description but anyway I sent them back. It then took several emails and about 6 weeks to actually get them to refund me. I had to constantly badger them about it. Any decent company would just do the refund when they receive the returned item, without having to be told me the customer repeatedly. Horrible experinence.

I really loved these ear plugs when I had them! They fit well and were great at shows. However, the storage case is terrible and does not reliably stay closed. So…. I unfortunately lost my earplugs on the way to a concert. Really terrible thing to discover when it’s too late to buy another pair and you are relying upon them to protect your hearing. Make sure you have a nice carrying case if you plan to use these a lot/take them on the road.

Very effective
Tried them out at a local concert the day they came in the mail. The fit and the look are great, you can barely see them in the ear when they’re put in properly, so people won’t give you funny looks. Instructions were a little unclear, it took me a while to confirm that the back piece you hold on to while inserting is not supposed to come off. Sound is good, but it’s definitely not perfectly transparent. The high treble is significantly rolled off. That being said they’re leaps and bounds from any passive hearing protection I’ve tried at concerts, and it’s pretty awesome to hear almost everything whilst also not getting hearing damage.

Plugs work great. The product is great. Operations and Customer service sucks. It took them 2.5 weeks after I bought my order before they shipped my product. I was expecting 2-3 business days. I contacted Customer Service 3 business days after my order about this problem and asked them to change me to a cheaper shipping option if possible. 3.5 weeks later, they still haven’t contacted me. I suspect they never will.
Recommendation: get this product on Amazon if you want it shipped faster. I suspect they are faster there. Get the product on their website if you are ok with it arriving potentially a month later.

Using for about 5 years since loud music at a wedding induced tinnitus & sensitivity to loud noises. Fortunately, tinnitus has subsided, however I try to carry these earplugs with me to protect against loud sounds. It is effective without affecting music or ability to hear conversations. Only downside is easy to lose. String with plastic holders help when used but makes one stand out when wearing earplugs.

My favorite earplugs for concerts
These are my favorite earplugs; I can’t go to a show without them. I had my previous pair for 10 years until I somehow managed to lose one. My only complaint is they now come in a hard-shell case, and I really prefer the thinner-profile squishy one. But the earplugs themselves have saved my ears at countless concerts over the past 10 years, and I try to keep them in my purse for those occasions when crowds or movies get too loud. And thank goodness, because I’ve been to a couple of movies that would have been unbearably loud without them.
